One of the best and most rewarding ways to be a part of the DHS Band Family is to volunteer! Not only does it give you a front row seat to your child’s Band experience, but your child will see first-hand your support of their interests and endeavors.
You will get out of it what you put in – if you don’t spend time getting to know other parents and students, you will miss out on some of the best experiences you can have as a member of the DHS Band Family. It takes a (large) village to keep everything running, and it could not be done without our fantastic volunteers.
There are many, many ways to donate your time and talents. All are welcome!
NOTE: FBISD requires volunteers to complete a criminal background check each year (after June 30). If you have not done so already, please complete a background check with FBISD.
